Future Trainers Club at Derby Card Show and Card Collision

This past weekend was a big one for us at Future Trainers Club. On Saturday 13th September we visited Derby Card Show, and on Sunday 14th September we made the trip to Manchester for Card Collision. Two brilliant events, two days filled with energy, and countless opportunities to connect with people who share a love for the trading card community.

What stood out most wasn’t just the cards, but the conversations. We were able to share our vision for Future Trainers Club, talk about how we want to create a space where young people can enjoy, learn, and grow through trading card games, and hear from people who are just as passionate about the hobby as we are. Every chat gave us new ideas and made us even more determined to push forward.

We’re especially grateful to everyone who took a few minutes to talk to us over the weekend. Whether it was a quick hello or a longer discussion about the future, it all meant a lot. Networking at both shows also gave us a chance to start building relationships and explore potential partnerships that could really help us bring more opportunities to young people.

A huge thank you also goes to the organisers of Derby Card Show and Card Collision. Pulling off events like these is no small task, and the effort and care put into them was clear. Because of your work, so many people were able to come together and celebrate the community we all love.

We left the weekend feeling inspired, encouraged, and excited about what’s to come. Future Trainers Club is about connection, opportunity, and growth, and it’s the support of this amazing community that makes it all possible. We can’t wait to build on the relationships we started this weekend and to see many of you again at future events.
