Future Trainers Club: Now Officially a Community Interest Company!
We are proud to share that Future Trainers Club is now officially registered as a Community Interest Company (CIC). This means we are recognised as a not-for-profit organisation that exists to benefit our local community. Every penny we receive will be reinvested directly into our sessions, resources, and support for families.
Becoming a CIC is more than a legal step. It is a promise. It shows our commitment to keeping the club inclusive, accessible, and community-focused. We want every child and young person to have a safe space to play, learn, and grow, no matter their background or ability.
Our sessions are designed to do more than just teach a game. They help develop social skills, teamwork, maths, and reading comprehension in a fun and relaxed way. Many of our activities encourage critical thinking and problem solving, helping children build confidence in their own abilities.
We also believe strongly in giving back. As the club grows, we want to create opportunities for young people to volunteer, mentor, and even lead sessions. This gives them a chance to gain leadership experience, communication skills, and a sense of pride in what they achieve. These are life skills that will stay with them long after they leave the club.
For families, Future Trainers Club is a place to connect and feel welcome. Parents and carers can relax, chat, and enjoy seeing their children engaged and happy. It’s a space where community matters, and where being present in play is valued as much as learning the rules of the game.
Our new CIC status will also help us build stronger partnerships with local organisations, schools, and funders. This means we can continue offering free or low-cost sessions, provide meals during our warm-space evenings, and make sure cost is never a barrier to participation.
We are grateful to everyone who has supported us so far — from those who donated cards and equipment to those who simply spread the word. Your support has helped us reach this point, and it will help us continue to grow in a way that puts people before profit.
Future Trainers Club exists because our community deserves spaces where children can learn, families can connect, and kindness leads the way. Becoming a CIC ensures we can keep doing exactly that.
If you would like to get involved, volunteer, or donate cards and supplies, please reach out. Together, we can keep building something special for children and families.
